CM Technology provides software, systems and consultancy to the international mobile market. CM Technology supports telecom operators, sms/mms aggregators and media companies in boosting their revenues and traffic. Additionally, the company develops custom-made software to help clients with adding sms/mms services to their systems. CM Technology is founded by Deloitte's Fast 500 nominee ClubMessage.
ClubMessage started its business in 1999 as a result of the successful introduction of the product SMS Messaging in the events and nightlife sector. From that moment on, ClubMessage developed into a global player in the field of functional sms services, with two main offices in The Netherlands and Poland.
Goal/mission:
At CM Technology, we aim to transfer our expertise and knowledge to our target group and expand our knowledge by the development of new projects in order to maintain our leadership position.
History in brief:
- 1999: First contract with telecom operator Libertel (currently
Vodafone) for large SMS transmissions. - 2000: Over 500 customers in the nightlife sector in The Netherlands and Belgium reaching hundreds of thousands of people each month.
- 2001: First marketing campaign outside the nightlife sector. Big brands and marketing agencies start to discover SMS and ClubMessage.
- 2002: ClubMessage invents and develops the patented product Mail-SMS. Large companies such as Philips and Unilever send their SMS messages via the ClubMessage systems.
- 2003: ClubMessage expands its market and connects customers in Germany, Spain and The United Kingdom. ClubMessage founds ClubMessage Polska (Poland).
- 2004: ClubMessage maintains its leadership position and expands its customer portfolio with companies outside the ICT or marketing sector, such as De Telefoongids (Dutch telephone directory), Euretco, telecom operators, tv-stations and several SMS aggregators.
- 2005: ClubMessage separates its core business and founds CM Technology in order to offer better products and service to its large customer portfolio.
- 2006: ClubMessage and CM Technology reach hundreds of thousands of people per sms each week, either via their own sms network or via operators: two of the three largest Dutch publishing companies work with ClubMessage and CM Technology, almost half of all sms television campaigns are realized with the technical co-operation of ClubMessage and CM Technology, 90 percent of all cafes and clubs that communicate with their clients via sms, are doing this via ClubMessage and CM Technology, and almost half of the messages sent by Dutch sms companies make use of the ClubMessage technology. ClubMessage and CM Technology together have more than 1000 customers and more than 1 million users in more than 10 countries.
